Scenic Rim Eat Local Month is one of Australia’s most authentic paddock-to-plate food and farming experiences. Held annually in June, the month-long celebration offers visitors an exclusive backstage pass to explore the region’s farms, wineries, distilleries, and immersive paddock-to-plate experiences.

Beaumoor, a future neighbourhood developed by Moremac Property Group (Moremac) in partnership with IDA, is perfectly located within the heart of Beaudesert and a short drive to many of the Scenic Rim’s major attractions.

Since the project commenced, a key feature promoted to potential residents has been the broader Scenic Rim community, highlighting the unique hidden gems throughout the picturesque region which includes a number of local producers in the food and beverage industry.

Moremac General Manager – Queensland, Andrew Brimblecombe, says to be a part of one of the largest events in not only the Scenic Rim, but larger Southeast Queensland is an incredible privilege and an excellent opportunity to further showcase the best the region has to offer to a wider audience.

“The Beaudesert region has so much to offer not only to residents, but also visitors, so we’re very excited to be playing a role in promoting some of the best producers in the Scenic Rim during Eat Local Month,” said Mr. Brimblecombe.

“We’ve made a concerted effort to showcase Beaumoor through long lasting, and impactful partnerships benefitting the community and the month-long celebration in June is something we’re really proud to be a part of.”

Beaumoor’s promotion of the region has included Eat Local Month staples such as Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Elderflower Farm, Beechmont Estate and a number of other small businesses in the Scenic Rim.

As Major Partner, Beaumoor will have a presence at Eat Local Month’s grand finale, the Winter Harvest Festival held in Kalbar at the end of June.
Winter Harvest Festival will see Scenic Rim chefs, growers, producers, and flavour artisans unite to showcase the region’s produce through cooking demonstrations, engaging displays, hands-on workshops, market stalls and more.

As is common practice for the developer’s projects, Moremac looks forward to engaging further with the township and surrounding areas through community events as Beaumoor progresses.

Beaumoor will be developed into a new community centrally located within walking distance to hospitals, schools, services and entertainment, making it ideal for future residents.

It will include public open space and parks, as well as a bike and pedestrian network providing easy access to Beaudesert and surrounding services.
