The new scoreboard is expected to be installed at Kingfishers HQ in time for the 2025 rugby league season and will be a welcome addition by providing a modern look for the club competing in the Rugby League Gold Coast competition. Moremac signage will feature around the grounds in the coming weeks.

Moremac has also committed to providing funds for playing apparel across both junior and senior competitions from 2025.

“Partnering with local sporting groups is something we explore across a large portion of our developments across the country,” said Lachlan Moore, Sales and Marketing Director at Moremac.

“We want to make sure we provide value to the communities we develop in and we see the Kingfishers as a fantastic partner in this respect.

“Local sport plays a key role in building camaraderie and connection and we’re delighted to be partnering with the Kingfishers who have been a stalwart in Beaudesert for over 50 years.”

The partnership will extend to Moremac activating at Willis Park during game days and offer opportunities for the Kingfishers to get involved in Beaumoor events, opening the door to attracting further participants to the club.

“By entering into partnerships with a notable club like the Kingfishers, we can showcase what Beaudesert has to offer as a future home for prospective residents, which can be incredibly important to a home buyer or builder, particularly those with young families,” added Moore.

“We look forward to working together with Kingfishers on initiatives where we can provide real value to both parties and the wider community.”

Kingfishers Vice President Justin Kummerow said the partnership with Moremac was a welcome addition to the club.

“We’re pleased to welcome Moremac to the Kingfisher family and we’re excited to see the new scoreboard installed to officially kick off the partnership,” said Kummerow.

“Additionally, Moremac’s support towards our playing kit not only goes a long way for the club, it also benefits our playing members fees which is a great bonus.

“To have a long-term partnership in place gives us great confidence to plan the club’s finances well in advance and continue our development plans.”

Moremac’s community support also includes naming rights sponsorship of the Beaudesert Cup on Saturday 6 July at the Aquis Beaudesert Racecourse, the Beaudesert Bowls Club’s Annual Bush Carnival, Beaudesert Pony Club and Beaudesert Boxing Club.

As is common practice for the developer’s estates, Moremac looks forward to engaging further with the township and surrounding areas through free community events as Beaumoor progresses.

Beaumoor will be developed into a new community centrally located within walking distance to hospitals, schools, services and entertainment, making it ideal for future residents.

A significant portion of the site includes over 150 hectares of open green space and parkland, as well as a bike and pedestrian network providing easy access to the Beaudesert locality and surrounding services.
