Held at The Point’s parklands, Barbie fans from Point Lonsdale and surrounds packed the free event which has become a highly anticipated annual school holiday event at The Point.
Once again, Moremac provided guests the opportunity to vote on which movie would screen on the evening with the attendees electing for Margot Robbie’s Barbie, a timely choice during the awards season in Hollywood.
They were able to enjoy the movie with free popcorn, pizza and ice-cream, also provided by Moremac.
Roving entertainers dressed as the iconic characters from the film completed the family friendly night which proved a hit among residents and the wider community.
“Sensational night for the annual outdoor cinema event,” said Corrine P. on social media.
“Could not have asked for better conditions, thanks Moremac for putting this on, free food and drinks and the atmosphere was great with lots of family groups attending.”
The free outdoor event caps off a run of four screenings over two months at Moremac’s Deanside Village in Deanside, Kingsfield in Sunbury and Alira in Berwick.
In total, over 1,200 residents in Moremac estates enjoyed the complimentary evening out which the developer hosts to encourage a strong community spirit.
“The Point outdoor cinema is quickly becoming an extremely popular event during the summer school holidays,” said Lachlan Moore, Sales and Marketing Director at Moremac.
“It’s important for us to encourage residents in our estates to meet and mingle with one another, it gives us quite a unique selling point to future customers.”
